City of Joplin cuts new path away from the traffic

The Landreth Park Trail is almost complete and was officially opened Tuesday.
The trail starts at 5th and Main, goes to 4th and Murphy, and then north to the amphitheatre in the park.
It runs 1.5 miles and is made for both foot and bicycle traffic.
