The Carl Junction PTO not wasting any time getting people in the holiday mood.

PTO members from kindergarten through third grade are hosting a holiday arts and crafts festival.

Proceeds from over 30 vendors and more then 300 people will go towards upgrading classrooms for teachers.

"We are going to give it to the principals at the end of year," festival coordinator Chevelle Gilmore said.  "Last year we bought a lot of projectors for the classrooms, smart boards, supplies that the classrooms will need for different things that typically they wouldn't have the money for."
