State Offices to Close Monday in Honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

JEFFERSON CITY - Gov. Matt Blunt today reminds Missourians that all state offices will be closed on Monday, January 21, in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

"On Monday we pause to honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and the sacrifices he made to further his dream of equality for all," Gov. Blunt said. "Nearly half a century later, we are blessed to live in a time and place where Dr. King’s dream is closer to reality than ever before."
